Dr. Sultan Aljahdali, is Professor of Computer Science Department in the College of Computers and Information Technology at Taif University, Saudi Arabia. He was the dean of the College of Computers and Information Technology (CIT) at Taif University from 2009 to 2013. He is an internationally-recognized scholar who has made strong contributions to the knowledge and understanding of Software Testing, Software Reliability models, Soft Computing, Computer Security, Reverse Engineering and Medical Imaging. He has authored and co-authored numerous books and more than 100 publications.

Dr. Sultan received Ph.D. degree in Information Technology from George Mason University, USA in 2003, M.S. degree with honor from Minnesota State University in Mankato, and B.Sc from Winona State University. He also completed the leadership Program at Harvard Business School, Harvard University, Boston, USA in 2013. After receiving his Ph.D. Dr. Sultan started working as an Information Technology Manager in the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Saudi Arabian Airlines, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On gaining a valuable industrial experience, Dr. Sultan joined academia to strengthen his teaching and research skills. In that direction, he joined the Department of Computer Science, at Taif University (TU) as an Assistant Professor in 2007 and quickly demonstrated excellence in the areas of teaching, research, and curriculum development. In 2009, Dr. Sultan was promoted as the Dean of the College of Computers and Information Technology (CIT) at Taif University. Dr. Sultan, under his leadership at CIT, has accomplished ABET accreditation for two of its academic programs; Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Sultan has been the General Chair and/or Technical Program Chair, Program Chair, Session Chair, and member of different International conferences and workshops sponsored by various professional societies or organizations including the IEEE Computer Society, Arab Computer Society (ACS) and International Society for Computers and Their Applications (ISCA).

He also served as the conference chair of 26th International Conference on Computer Applications in Industry and Engineering (CAINE 2013). He is also a member of professional societies like ACM, IEEE, ACS and ISCA. He is in the editorial board of many international journals like International Journal of Science and Advanced Technology, International Journal of Computer Technology and Applications, World of Computer Science and Information Technology, Journal of Intelligent Computing, International Journal of Computer Science & Emerging Technologies, Universal Journal of Computer Science and Engineering Technology.

He has also served as Visiting Professor in Winona State University, St. Cloud State University and University of Hawai'i at Hilo, Hawaii USA
